FIRE FIGHTING

Professional Helicopter Services (PHS) has a long history in aerial firefighting and fire suppression operations with Victorian, Queensland and NSW Government’s over the last 40 years. PHS first held a firefighting contract with the Victorian Government in 1985 and have provided helicopters to the State in every fire season since. PHS has also provided these services to various regional Councils and Agencies across the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania on a call when needed basis.

Our experience extends to Air Attack, Fire Bombing, Aerial Reconnaissance, Aerial Ignition, Transport, Cargo, Slinging, Heavy Lifting, Aerial Filming, Search and Rescue, Low Level Flight Operations and Power Line Surveys.

PHS has been actively involved at major campaigns such as Ash Wednesday, Black Saturday, Aberfeldy, Blue Mountains, Harrietville and the 2019/20 Fire Season
